All of our groups are run by volunteers, all of our mums groups are run by women, many of them are mums, many have experienced emotional distress or mental ill health themselves. We believe that this gives our volunteers insight into what our group members are experiencing.
All of our volunteers are trained in providing peer support for women in the perinatal period, receive clinical supervision and ongoing support. Our groups are free and run by volunteers and we have strong links with Children's Centres and other local professionals.
If you would like to get involved with an existing group, or even start a new one in your area please contact Rebecca directly to talk.
Who We Support
We support local women who are struggling emotionally with pregnancy and motherhood.
It may be that you have been diagnosed with Ante or Post Natal Depression, it may be that you are feeling anxious, lonely and down. You may find yourself struggling to relax or sleep, or crying/feeling angry.

Who Are We?
We are mums first and foremost who have each had our own experiences of ante and/or post natal depression, anxiety, isolation and loneliness.
We began meeting in July 2012 as a direct response to the lack of community support for mums in Welwyn Garden City.
Our first meeting was in our founder's living room and we quickly realised that we needed more space! We now meet in the community, in Children's Centres and online.
